Torno
Torno is one of the most characteristic villages overlooking Lake Como (located 7 km from the city), with its simple houses, restaurants, cafes. Baradello Castle

Villa Olmo
Villa Olmo (originally called dell'Olmo) is a neoclassical villa in Como, the work of the architect Simone Cantoni. The imposing structure, commissioned by the family of the Odescalchi marquises of Fino Mornasco, is today the most important of the villas in the Como area. Since 1924 the villa has housed the Volta National Center, in homage to the inventor and citizen of Como Alessandro Volta (1745-1827).
